THE TYPE OF PEOPLE YOU FIND IN A UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT

The University is supposed to be an Institution, Center or an Avenue where you go for acquiring and gaining of knowledge for continuous learning and enhancement of our moral attitude, but now am sorry to say the reverse is the case.
Most people see the University as a means of running away from the guardians of their parents knowing fully well that there is nobody in the school environment to caution and guard them about anything when they are wrong.

I strongly think we should abolish the saying “Allow the school go through you”. These is leading the young ones astray, having in mind that they should embrace anything that comes their way in the school environment giving open space to the Predators in the University environment.

With No much talk let me list the few type people you find in the University Environment.

THE DREAM CHASER:

These are the determined set of people that have accessed their goals knowing the reason for them being in the University Environment, trying their possible best to put more effort to strive for a better result. Working hard to do better than they did in the previous Semester not minding if they have to sacrifice 2-3 hour of their sleeping hours.

THE FOLLOWERS:

These are the set of people that are trying to fit in with others in the University Environment, know very much well that there are no two persons alike, Not having in mind that the University is an Environment where you go to and be yourself, Not just being yourself but know your reason for coming into the University environment.

THE GHOST:

As the name implies “The Ghost”, these set of people you only see them in the University Environment when it’s test or during examination period and after that it’s goodbye until the next Semester Examination

THE WICKED/PREDATORS:

I refer to this set of people as the “WICKED/PREDATORS”. Their job is to get close to you, try their possible best to get you whatever you wish you had, with them having in mind that nothing goes for nothing. After the period of them helping you around they will reveal the reason for their kindness to you and by then you’re already indebted to them and the ball is already in their court.

From the set of people listed above we should try and re-access our aim for going to the University Environment. You should not be influenced by the people around you the wrong way, Learn to check yourself to know when you’re not trending the right direction so you can correct yourself before you become uncontrollable.
