Kwara pilgrims busted in Saudi Arabia for drugs, MAY BE BEHEADED

Saudi Arabian authorities have arrested three pilgrims from Kwara for alleged possession of substance suspected to be cocaine.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT sworn to hunt down killers of NYSC member


Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, says the Federal Government will hunt down the killers of the NYSC member, Samuel Okonta, who was killed during the rerun election in Rivers state last Saturday. Dalung said this while paying a condolence visit to the Director General of NYSC, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi yesterday March 23rd.

Ben Murray-Bruce's reaction to CBN's ban of ATM use abroad

Senator Ben Murray Bruce has reacted to the Central Bank of Nigeria's decision to ban Nigerians from using their debit and credit cards abroad. Reports about the planned ban came to light few days ago when BBC quoted a source as saying that the CBN will from January 1st 2016 stop foreign purchase via the use of credit or debit card. The decision is reportedly part of the government's effort to try to stem the flow of foreign exchange out of the country.

Train Kills 3 persons in Ilorin

Tragedy struck Sunday afternoon in Ilorin as three persons inside a car were crushed to death by a moving train.
